CFDs and leveraged FX products are complex instruments and carry a high risk of rapid losses due to leverage. Consider whether you understand how these products work and whether you can afford to take that risk.

01

Leveraged products

Contracts for difference, rolling spot FX and other leveraged products are complex. Small market movements can have a proportionally larger impact on a leveraged position, including a rapid loss of the amount committed to that position.

02

Principal dealing and conflicts

BullBear Markets is the counterparty to client CFD trades and executes accepted orders internally as a market maker. Orders are not sent to an exchange or external liquidity provider for a fill. Acting as counterparty creates a conflict of interest: BullBear may benefit when clients lose and may lose when clients profit.

03

Pricing and spreads

External market data supplies reference prices, not a guarantee of execution. BullBear determines its client bid and ask using its pricing configuration, spreads and any applicable broker markup. BUY orders execute at the accepted ask and SELL orders at the accepted bid. The spread is a trading cost; commissions and overnight financing or swap charges may also apply under the account's disclosed fee schedule.

04

Slippage, gaps and order prices

Prices can jump between valid market updates. A market order uses the latest valid executable price when accepted and can fill at a different price from an earlier indicative quote. Stop orders and stop losses may trigger through a gap and execute at the first valid available price, which can be worse than the trigger price. A limit order must fill at its limit or better. Take-profit and other protective instructions are evaluated against the relevant executable bid or ask; reaching a chart midpoint does not guarantee a fill.

05

Margin and account risk

Used margin reserves account funds for open positions. Equity includes unrealised profit or loss, and free margin reflects the funds available after margin requirements. Leverage, spread, commissions and financing affect these figures. Adverse moves or gaps can cause a margin shortfall and forced position closure under the applicable account terms; an ordinary stop loss is not a guaranteed execution price.

06

Data and service availability

Trading requires approved account controls and valid, authorised reference data. Stale quotes, invalid prices or a provider disconnection can prevent execution for affected instruments. An unavailable valuation is not a zero profit or loss. Market-data access does not itself establish regulatory permission to offer trading services in a customer's jurisdiction.

Suitability

Before trading, you should consider whether you understand the relevant product, can bear the potential loss and should obtain independent financial, legal and tax advice where appropriate.
